Asam Laksa, Beef Rendang, Chendol, Penang Char Kway Teow, Hokkien Mee, Kuih Talam ... this was reason enough for us to head down to Penang Place last Sunday for lunch. For $19.80 plus Service Charge and GST, you get to enjoy a quiet lunch buffet at a deserted business park (what do you expect on a Sunday). If you like spicy, it had enough 'hot' dishes to keep your tongue burning; if you like sweet, there were the DIY Ice Kachang or Chendol; and if you like it sour, thre's always the Penang Laksa. A Penang hawker food feast in a foreign land!
